From Consumption to Creation: A Techpreneur's Realization
In business, it's easy to get distracted by the notion of lack.
You know, if only I had the latest strategy, course or tool.
But what if true progress was about application instead of accumulation?
Here’s the story…
Today, I read a post by Hasan Aboul and it forced me to pause.
Collecting vs. Building - Hasan Aboul Hasan
"Before, I thought learning meant collecting degrees and certificates."
"After, I realized learning means solving real problems and teaching others."
"Before, I consumed 50+ books a year to feel productive."
"After, I implemented ideas from 5 to 10 books a year and actually grew."
"Before, I chased every new tool in technology."
"After, I mastered fundamentals that never change."
His shift from consuming to creating changed everything.
I recall my aha moment as well.
One day, I took inventory of my skills, abilities and passions.
I realized that the times I made the most money came from creating.
Then I paid attention to the world around me and realized that producers always thrived in a consumeristic society.
From that moment, I haven't looked back.
As a matter of fact, this is my 100th edition of Techpreneur Newsletter!
Each week, I want to share and inspire while documenting my journey.
