We are seven days into 2024.
Can you believe it?
It felt like yesterday when I was updating my goals and vision board.
Once you've clarified your intentions, it’s interesting how information, ideas, and opportunities actively gravitate towards you.
True story…
I was scrolling through Instagram and stumbled on a creator discussing her goals and personal mastery journey.
I was intrigued and stopped to listen.
I’ve never heard of the “90/90/1 Rule” that she was referring to.
I jotted down notes as I listened.
This is what I learned…
For the next 90 days, spend the first 90 minutes of your day working on your #1 lifechanging project. That means pure focus and no distractions.
The concept resonated with me but I wanted to know more.
I “Googled” the “90/90/1 rule” and discovered a wealth of YouTube content from the author Robin Sharma.
Robin also kept mentioning “The 5AM Club” and the importance of owning your morning.
Here's the thing...
I enjoy staying up late and working on ideas, learning etc.
It's almost a badge of honor to burn the midnight oil.
But at the same time, I realize that staying up too late can affect my energy and cognitive stamina the next day.
For example, sometimes I'm up till 2am-3am and then rise at 8am to trade stocks.
Yes, I get up and function but my trading suffers because I make silly mistakes.
Another example ― is getting proper rest and recovery after a solid workout.
Not fully resting does take it's toll.
Therefore, I couldn't have found The 5AM Club at a better time.
For you see, I’m poised for a breakout year!
Something has to change ― Right?
I'm three chapters into reading the book and cannot put it down!
If you’re on the personal mastery and entrepreneur journey, I highly encourage you to read “The 5AM Club”.
Promise me this this…Don’t quit on “You”.
