My heart goes out to anyone affected by the recent California wildfires.
The first responders were told that it would be 200 acres burned in 20 mins.
Let that sink in.
These fires have burned 40,000 acres, destroyed 12,000 homes and claimed over a dozen lives.
It's a stark reminder of the immense power of nature and how fragile life is.
One firefighter said, " Imagine fighting a fire in hurricane force winds with no rain? "
Another said that the flames were like an 80 mph blow torch.
Unfortunately, there are people and leaders pointing fingers.
I'm sure you've faced challenging situations in life and business.
But in the moment, there's no time to ask questions and second guess.
You respond!
Here's the thing...
Amidst the devastation, I've seen the true spirit of humanity.
Neighbors, communities and businesses are helping one another.
Imagine your home on fire and a neighbor helps spray water ― then moments later, the fire truck arrives?
America isn't alone.
Our allies in Canada and Mexico have sent firefighting crews and air support.
This solidarity is a powerful reminder that we are stronger together.
Yes, it's a time of heartbreak but heroism and hope are on full display.
A resident lost everything.
His words were...
"I don't know how we will recover but we will rebuild back even stronger."
