Model Then Innovate
The Two-Part Formula That Actually Works
“ Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. ”
Model Then Innovate: The Two-Part Formula That Actually Works
I've been deep in the trenches lately.
App development. Mobile game development.
Yes — I added another thing to my plate.
But here's what I've been doing while building...
I've been studying the winners.
The developers who went from zero to 100,000 downloads. The ones who hit a million installs. The ones who actually made it.
And you know what I discovered?
There's a pattern.
The Copy-Paste Trap
Get this...
A lot of people see a successful app or game and think: "I'll just make something similar."
They copy the concept.
Maybe change the colors.
Slap a different name on it.
Then they wonder why it doesn't take off.
Here's the thing...
Success isn't about copying. It's about understanding the formula.
And this formula has two parts.
Part 1: Model What's Already Working
This is where most people stop.
But it's actually where you need to start.
If you're building an app, a game, or any kind of business — you need to model what's already proven.
Why?
Because your customers already understand how it works.
They already know the interface. The flow. The value proposition.
You're not starting from ground zero with your customers.
You're not burning time and money on extensive onboarding.
You're meeting them where they are.
The truth is...
Modeling what works isn't lazy. It's smart.
It means there's already proven demand. A hungry market. People ready to buy.
Does that make sense?
People stick with what feels familiar. They abandon what feels foreign.
It's human nature.
Part 2: Innovate on What Exists
But here's where the magic happens...
You don't just model. You innovate.
You add features that fill the gaps.
You give it a unique look that stands out.
You add your personal touch. Your secret sauce.
That's what separates the winners from the copycats.
I've been analyzing successful apps in my space.
Reading thousands of reviews.
Identifying what users love and what frustrates them.
Then I'm building those solutions in.
Not guessing. Not hoping.
Building on proven demand while making it better.
The Two-Part Formula
Model what's working + Innovate on the gaps = Your competitive advantage.
This applies to everything:
Software. Apps. Games. Services. Physical products.
If you skip modeling, you're reinventing the wheel.
Fighting for market education.
Burning cash.
If you skip innovation, you're another me-too product. Lost in the noise. Forgettable.
You need both.
The Challenge: Apply the Two-Part Formula
This week, I want you to identify one product, service, or business you're building (or want to build).
Then ask yourself:
What's already working in this space that I can model?
What gaps exist that I can innovate on?
What's my unique touch that makes this different?
Study the winners. Learn from proven products. Then make it better.
Don't start from scratch when you can start from success.
Cheers!

Is SEO dead in 2025?
The video, "Is SEO dead in 2025? // THOUGHTS FROM A 7-FIGURE BLOGGER," argues that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is more crucial than ever in 2025.
Here are the top 5 key points from the video:
SEO is More Prevalent Than Ever: Contrary to the idea that SEO is dying, especially with the rise of AI, the blogger argues that SEO has never been more vital, as platforms lean into SEO practices to differentiate real human content from AI-generated content.
Every Platform is a Search Platform: SEO is not limited to Google; platforms like Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram are all search engines, and you must tailor your SEO strategy for each one individually to achieve maximum growth.
Content Must Be Viewer-Centric: Most creators are not famous enough for people to care about their personal life. Content must be geared toward helping or engaging the viewer to increase virality and growth.
Avoid Using AI for Content Creation: The video strongly advises against using AI tools like ChatGPT for writing blog posts or captions because search engines are becoming smart enough to detect AI-generated content, which can negatively impact ranking.
Use Misspellings to Signal Human Authorship: A unique tactic suggested is to occasionally include common misspellings in tags or content (especially those suggested by the platform's search bar) to make it more apparent that a real human, and not AI, is behind the content.
