“Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.”
No Amount of Wealth Matters : If You Don't Have Your Health
This week I spent some time with my father-in-law.
He was recently hospitalized.
He's back home now and I'm grateful for that.
But sitting with him this week reminded me of something we forget when we're heads down building.
When someone you love gets sick, everything shifts.
The meetings. The launches. The revenue goals. The product roadmap.
It all fades to the background.
We adjust our priorities.
We talk a lot in this newsletter about building wealth.
About AI.
About products, communities, and creating freedom through entrepreneurship.
But here's the truth...
None of it matters if you don't have your health.
Your business can recover from a bad quarter.
Markets bounce back.
Products get relaunched.
But your body?
That's the only vehicle you've got.
There's no upgrade.
No reboot.
No version 2.0.
One day, we watched a YouTube video that made us laugh non-stop.
Comedian Mike Goodwin shares his grandmother's philosophy on worry.
I'll let him take it from here…
"My grandmother used to say that there are only two things in life you need to worry about: whether you're healthy or whether you're sick.
If you're healthy, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're sick, you have two things to worry about: whether you're going to get better or whether you're going to get worse.
If you get better, you have nothing to worry about. But if you get worse, you have two things to worry about: whether you're going to live or whether you're going to die.
If you live, you have nothing to worry about. But if you die, you have two things to worry about: whether you're going to heaven or whether you're going to hell.
If you go to heaven, you have nothing to worry about. But if you go to hell, you have two things to worry about: original or extra crispy!"
Challenge:
So this week I want to remind you to check on the people you love.
Slow down long enough to be present.
And also take care of yourself.
You can rebuild a business but it’s hard to rebuild your health once it's gone.
Build smart. But live well.
Cheers!

💡 TP’s Marketing Lesson
How to Use AI in Your Business in 2026
Alex Hormozi explains that businesses don't need to become "AI companies" to succeed; instead, they should use AI as a tool to improve operations, just like the internet. Key takeaways include:
Vertical Integration: Owners must understand their own systems to effectively apply AI.
Process First: Automate existing, effective workflows rather than fixing broken ones.
Focus on Outcomes: Customers care about speed, cost, and quality, not the underlying technology.
Action: Prioritize hands-on, autonomous agent implementation.
