“ It's not the load that breaks you down. It's the way you carry it.”
Same Adversity. Different Results : Are You the Potato the Egg or the Coffee Bean?
I've been thinking a lot about producers versus consumers.
In today's world, those who create, build, and produce will always find a way.
That's been my focus.
Software. Physical products. 3D modeling. Branding. All of it.
And here's what I've learned.
A great product isn't only about how well it performs.
It's about how it looks. How it feels.
People shop with their eyes first.
That truth sent me down a rabbit hole of product design, branding, and presentation.
This week I was on YouTube researching product reveal videos.
Trying to level up how I present my work.
I kept seeing videos about how to create videos in the style of Zack D Films.
He's a creator known for captivating retention-driven storytelling.
And he is a master at weaving visuals and narration.
As I watched "13 Unreleased Videos I Thought Would Go Viral",
this one story caused me to pause.
You know me...
I had to write it down.
Get this...
Three pots of boiling water.
Three different items.
Same adversity. Twenty minutes. Completely different results.
The potato starts hard and solid. Boiling makes it soft and weak.
The egg starts fragile inside. Boiling hardens it.
The coffee beans don't just react to the boiling water.
They transform it.
Coloration. Rich. Aromatic. Something entirely new.
My question for you:
When life turns up the heat, which one are you?
Do you crumble under pressure like the potato?
Do you become hardened and closed off like the egg?
Or do you transform your environment like the coffee bean?
And here's the duality of that.
Sometimes to change your environment, you have to change your environment.
Let that sink in.
I've faced moments in this entrepreneurship journey where the water was boiling.
Projects stalling. Boards smoking. Ideas that took years to come together.
But every time, I chose to be the coffee bean.
Transform the pressure. Don't just survive it.
How about you?
Cheers!

💡 TP’s Marketing Lesson
If You Only Watch One Personal Brand Video, Make It This
Matt Gray outlines five stages of building a profitable personal brand: the Dreamer, the Tinkerer, the Beautiful Prison, the Media Company CEO, and the Iconic Founder-Led Brand. Moving from being a creator trapped in daily tasks to a media company CEO requires implementing robust systems like content waterfalls, email flows, and time-management strategies.
Ultimately, an iconic brand thrives when it operates independently of the founder, proving its success if it grows even during a thirty-day absence.

Humanoid Robotics at the BMW Group Plant Spartanburg
This isn't my typical AI news and tool segment, but you must see this.
What's interesting is the comments section of the video.
I used one of my custom YouTube scraping tools to analyze the comments.
The overall sentiment is overwhelmingly sarcastic and critical, mixed with light humor and mild skepticism.
Key themes include:
Pace & Efficiency: Viewers mock the robot's extremely slow speed and unsteady gait, comparing it to government workers or old men.
Editing: Annoyance over repetitive camera angles showing the same footage.
Underlying Anxiety: Occasional dark humor regarding job replacement and dystopian sci-fi tropes.
Only a tiny minority expressed genuine optimism or awe toward the technology.
