Stop Guessing, Start Asking

Why Asking Beats Knowing

“ I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned. "

― Richard P. Feynman

Stop Guessing, Start Asking: Why Asking Beats Knowing

What if there was one skill that could make every aspect of your life better?

It could be better relationships, more success, more wealth and better health.

If there was a "skill of all skills", how badly would you want to learn it?

This was the very question posed by my mentor, Myron Golden.

Myron went on to say that: "Questions Are The Answer".

Questions???

Yes, Questions.

Myron illustrated several ways why "Questions" are the answer to a better life.

Asking questions is the answer to better thinking.

Education discourages asking and encourages people to believe they already know the answers.

This prevents them from finding the truth.

People who are afraid to ask questions are more likely to hold onto false beliefs.

Therefore, examine your beliefs.

Asking questions is the answer to better communication.

Poor communicators are often bad at asking questions.

Why? They talk too much when asking a question.

On the other hand, good communicators ask more questions than they talk.

They're interested in learning about the other person.

Here’s the thing…

Ever heard the saying, people don't care until they know you care?

Myron says, “All you have to do is ask a question and WFA.”

WFA means ― wait for an answer.

From a sales perspective, questions are a better mechanism than answers.

Remember this…

Myron's million dollar sales question: (to ask your customer)

What questions, if any ― do you have?

Then what?

You answer their questions until they run out of questions.

Let’s continue on…

Asking questions is the answer to better learning.

Don't be afraid to show you don't know everything.

Asking questions is the answer to better earning.

Ask yourself: What is a big problem, that has a big pool of people, who are will spend big piles of money to solve it?

Asking questions is the answer to better implementation.

If there’s something you don't know how to do, you can ask someone who does.

In the new age of AI, not knowing is no longer a valid excuse.

The challenge:

Don't get tired of asking questions, because life does not get tired of providing answers.
