Stubborn Dreams, Flexible Paths: Lessons from Les Brown's Resilience
As the years go by and change becomes more evident,
the wisdom of Les Brown remains timeless.
Les Brown is a master motivator and inspirational speaker.
I recall one of his videos "Be Stubborn About Your Goals and Be Flexible About Your Approach."
Let that sink in.
In the lesson, he shared stories of resiliency and pure determination.
For example, when his mother lost her job, she went home and immediately started building several side-hustles.
He recounts a time of going on walks in the park with other inspired minds.
They all would share their dreams and goals.
But here's the thing...
They quit showing up and he did not.
Sometimes, you’ll have to walk alone.
With that being said, I want you to remember these three key points.
Never give up: Stay persistent and adaptable while pursuing your goals.
Prioritize yourself: Protect your well-being by setting boundaries and eliminating unnecessary distractions.
Act on your vision: Define your goals, align your actions, and be intentional.
Cheers!
