I stumbled on a YouTube video by Mark Lou that caught my attention.

The title: "My 7 Startups Made $68,140 in August (as a Solopreneur)"

I was curious ― who wouldn't be?

Mark Lou is a "build in public" type of solopreneur.

What is “build in public”?

Building in public means sharing your product or service's journey publicly.

It's a great marketing tool as well.

In the video Mark shared his monthly proceeds and that wasn’t all.

Actually, Mark has been developing micro webtools which made over $1-Million.

But get this...

It took him 27 products and 7 years to get there.

And of those 27 products, 10 actually made him revenue.

There's more...

80% of that $1-million was accomplished in the last year!

This proves why we don't give up too soon!

You have to keep pressing!

I could stop there but Mark dropped another gem for us.

He created a new product feature and shared it with his audience.

Then came the realization.

One Twitter post was a detailed product video and the other was a screenshot of numbers.

Which one do you think performed better?

The results were night and day.

The detailed Twitter post earned him $100 in 24-hours.

The screenshot post earned him $1,000 in 24-hours!

Staggering huh?

Have you heard the saying “sell the benefits, not the features”?

Using Mark’s words: Sell "pain-killers" not "vitamins".

Yes, vitamins are nice to haves, but "painkillers" solve immediate problems.
