This week we celebrated the life and legacy of my wife's grandmother Mrs. Pauline Palmer.
She was 99 years old.
Let that sink in.
She meant so much to her family and community.
She always had a word of encouragement, genuine advice and humor.
She was a mother to all who crossed her path.
The outpouring of love, acts of gratitude and personal stories were amazing.
During the funeral, I couldn't help but think about what Maya Angelou once said.
She said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. "
Here's the thing...
Your lasting impression on people can be negative or positive.
She always chose the latter.
Whether you're having a casual conversation or producing epic content, remember this simple principle.
