The Power of Consistency in Business and Life

Imagine what you could achieve if you knew you could not fail?

That's one of my favorite Mantras.

Here's the thing....
Imagination and action taking is only part of the success equation.

What do you mean?

Have you ever watched a success story interview?

It goes like this...

How long did it take or when did you know you would be successful?
Then the person pauses for a few seconds...

"Well I believed in myself — I didn't know everything but kept showing up everyday!"

Hold on....Don't miss this lesson..."Show up everyday"

As you read this, if you are not where you want to be, it may not be your surroundings, you skills or opportunities. It might be your consistency?

When I learned to play bass guitar, I practiced everyday for two months straight. Soon after, I was playing bass guitar for a woman's gospel group.
And — I was in 7th grade.

Question for you...

Ever heard of the Beach Body workout programs like P90x and Insanity etc. ?

So, I finally decided to get my six pack abs. At first I did not see immediate results. But — I did the P90X3 program for 90 days straight and reached my goal. A consistent diet was even more important than the workouts.

I've been writing TechPreneur Newsletter consistently for 14 weeks now. This process helped me realize how inconsistent my efforts to advance my businesses were.

For example: I got back into trading stocks. 13 years ago, I recall learning the technical analysis and all the charts. But — I couldn’t get consistent results.

I was missing an important detail.

I realized that I was trying too many concepts, currencies and stocks at once. Once I broke down one strategy and one stock — the profits came on-demand.

I'll leave you with this...

The biggest lesson in staying consistent is creating a true baseline reference. When you improve, you will start to notice the small details. These small daily improvements — become major wins later.
