Unlock Your Earning Potential: 5P's of Personal Branding You Need to Know

I recently watched a Callum McDonnell podcast called:

"How Anyone Can Make $10K - $1M per Month"

Here's the thing...

I've been on this mission to build my person brand

and Daniel Priestley dropped some gems that

were right on time!!!

Daniel Priestley is an award winning author, entrepreneur and coach.

Learning the 5 P’s to Personal Brand Building was my big takeaway.

5P's to Building a Personal Branding

1- Pitching (Social Pitch): Craft a clear, concise introduction (30-40 seconds) that includes: Remember this - “name, same, fame, aim, game’

NAME - Your Name & Business Name: Establish recognition.

SAME - A Relatable Element: Connect with your audience by mentioning something familiar they already know.

FAME - Your Unique Value Proposition (What Makes You Different): Highlight what sets you apart and the problem you solve.

AIM - Your Short-Term Goals (What You're Working On): Briefly mention your current project or initiative to pique interest.

GAME - Introduce a New Idea: Briefly mention a unique concept or perspective you offer, sparking curiosity and leaving them wanting to know more.

Think of it as a captivating elevator pitch infused with a thought-provoking idea.

2- Publishing (Signature Ideas): Publish content consistently across multiple platforms (7-hours worth, 11 pieces of content on 4 platforms) to establish yourself as a thought leader. Consider writing a book to organize and share your signature ideas in one package.

3- Products (Beyond Your Time): Move beyond selling your time by creating products (books, software, courses, memberships, etc.) that allow you to scale your impact. Products act as the "moneymakers" around your central personal brand.

4- Profile (SALT Method): Increase your visibility through:

Social Media (S): Share valuable content consistently on relevant platforms to connect with your audience and establish expertise.

Awards/Associations (A): Pursue awards and memberships in recognized organizations to enhance your credibility and attract opportunities.

Live Events (L): Speak at conferences, workshops, or host your own events to connect with a wider audience and showcase your knowledge.

Third-Party Media (T): Seek media mentions, interviews, or guest blogging opportunities to gain exposure and reach a new audience.

These elements elevate your profile and attract clients.

5- Partnerships (Strategic Alliances): Collaborate with complementary individuals or businesses to expand your reach and expertise. Find partners who can fill your gaps and vice versa, creating a win-win situation.

Final Thought: Building a strong personal brand empowers you to build a successful business in today's world. It allows you to become a thought leader, attract clients, and scale your impact beyond your own time.
